It may also have parts of the operating or control mechanism attached.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bounce<\/strong>: Rebounding of moving contact against fixed contact during transfer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Break<\/strong>: Interruption of a circuit. Double-break occurs when a single mechanism interrupts two contacts simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0639\u0629<\/strong>: Usually refers to the current handling capability of a switch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0627\u062a\u0635\u0627\u0644<\/strong>: The contact is a conducting part designed to be united by pressure to another conducting part for the purpose of carrying current.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u0642\u0627\u0648\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0644\u0627\u0645\u0633<\/strong>: The resistance of current flow across closed contacts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detent<\/strong>: Feature that indicates actuation point has been reached. Can also be referred to as tactile feel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0642\u0627\u0648\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0639\u0627\u0632\u0644\u0629<\/strong>: The ability of an insulating material to resist voltage from arcing across its surface.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dust-Tight<\/strong>: Sealed switch will withstand sand and dust contamination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0645\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0634\u063a\u064a\u0644\u064a \u0644\u0644\u0623\u0646\u0638\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0643\u0647\u0631\u0628\u0627\u0626\u064a\u0629<\/strong>: Expected cycle life when switch is operated at full rated load.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u0642\u0627\u0648\u0645\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0639\u0632\u0644<\/strong>: The resistance to current flow of the insulating materials between contacts.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Momentary Action Switch\" href=\"https:\/\/www.langir.com\/ar\/news\/whats-the-difference-between-an-alternate-action-and-a-momentary\/\"><strong style=\"color:#ffa010;\">Momentary Action Switch<\/strong><\/a>: The term given to a switch where a circuit is continuously closed or opened only when force is applied. The electrical state returns to its normal position when the force is removed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u063a\u0644\u0642 \u0639\u0627\u062f\u0629\u064b<\/strong>: The term given to a switch where a circuit is closed in the normal switch position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u0641\u062a\u0648\u062d \u0639\u0627\u062f\u0629\u064b<\/strong>: The term given to a switch where a circuit is open in the normal switch position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operating Point<\/strong>: Point at which contacts transfer. Usually measured from the switch mounting holes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Over Travel<\/strong>: The distance an actuator travels after the circuit is closed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0645\u0648\u062f<\/strong>: The term to denote a completely separate circuit, which passes through a switch at one time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pre Travel:<\/strong> The movement of the actuator prior to closing the circuit. Sometimes identical to &#8220;Travel to Make&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Switch Abbreviations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>N.C.<\/strong>: Normally Closed<br>\n<strong>N.O.<\/strong>: Normally Open<br>\n<strong>SPST<\/strong>: Single Pole Single Throw 1NO1NC<br>\n<strong>SPDT<\/strong>: Single Pole Double Throw 1NO2NC<br>\n<strong>DPST<\/strong>: Double Pole Single Throw 2NO1NC<br>\n<strong>DPDT<\/strong>: Double Pole Double Throw 2NO2NC<br>\n<strong>Travel to Make<\/strong>: The distance parallel to the designated direction of the actuator movement at which point a circuit is closed.<br>\n<strong>Watertight<\/strong>: Sealed switch will withstand submersion to various depths depending on specification level.<br>\n<strong>Wiping Action<\/strong>: Lateral travel of movable contact over fixed contact while pressure between the two contacts exists. Occurs during plunger travel.
