Langir Electric (“Langir”) is committed to the meeting the highest quality standards in our products and services, as well as in the way in which we conduct our business.<\/p>

We work with our suppliers to ensure working conditions in our supply chain are safe, workers are treated with respect and production processes are environmentally and socially responsible.<\/p>

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) has adopted rules requiring publicly traded companies to disclose whether they use tantalum, tin, gold or tungsten (“Conflict Minerals”) which originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (the “DRC”) or neighboring countries (“Covered Countries”) and, if so, the companies are to exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of those Conflict Minerals and report the results of their inquiry and due diligence.<\/p>

Langir has implemented measures to comply with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which aims to prevent the use of Conflict Minerals which directly or indirectly help to finance or benefit armed groups in Covered Countries.<\/p>

Langir strives to be a “conflict minerals free” company, and is taking the required measures to review and check the processes throughout its supply chain in its efforts to achieve a conflict free supply chain. Langir complies with all applicable laws and commits to work towards improving traceability of Conflict Minerals and ensure responsible sourcing.<\/p>

Langir has incorporated the principles of the Conflict Minerals requirements into its business practices. Our approval process for new suppliers contains Conflict Minerals requirements. Langir will communicate this policy to its suppliers and encourage them to set similar policies for their supply chain. Suppliers that will not adhere to or work towards meeting conflict minerals regulations will be eliminated from future business opportunities with Langir.<\/p>

Under the definition of “DRC Conflict-Free,” products supplied to Langir:<\/p>

1. Do not contain tantalum, tin, tungsten or gold (3TG) as elements necessary to their production or functionality, or,<\/p>

2. If products supplied to Langir do contain these minerals, the minerals must originate outside the DRC, come from scrap or recycled sources, or be supplied from smelters that have been validated by an independent private sector party to be conflict-free. Certified conflict-free smelters are validated as compliant to the EICC (Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition) conflict free smelter (CFS) protocol using the CFS Compliant Smelter List. Through the CFS protocol, smelters are audited globally; the list of compliant smelters and refiners is posted at www.conflictfreesmelter.org<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
